About V2Getha.

Over in West Surrey, the Youth Action Team have branded themselves V2Getha and have established a core group of around 7 young people representing different schools, colleges, universities, and organisations, stretching from Egham, Woking to Guildford.

Over the months they have been ambassadors for Surrey vinvolved, promoting us, spreading the word and recruiting new young people to vinvolved. They have helped us with our marketing by designing our wrist bands which have been a real hit with young people. Each member owns their own black hoodie with ‘V2Getha’ printed on the back!

Over the next few months the V2Getha team are focusing efforts on raising money for Woking Hospice in the Steps2Everest initiative. There will be events such as a gig night at the Ypod (Woking YMCA) but also each member has been asked to approach their college to organise a way that their own college can get behind the fundraising event.
