Dear vInvolved Volunteer,

Surrey vInvolved is a 3 year project dedicated to creating diverse and exciting opportunities for young people aged 16 to 25 across Surrey and to supporting young people to access them. We also enable youth led action helping to raise the profile of youth volunteering throughout Surrey. The team is hosted by Reigate and Redhill YMCA in partnership with Woking and Guildford YMCAs. The project will come to completion on 31st March 2011.

From the team here at Surrey vInvolved, we want to say ‘thank you’! Thank you for getting involved to give some of your time and energy to making a difference for someone else. Whether it has been a one-off event, something weekly or contributing in some way in your local school/college/university – everyone has made a positive contribution to their area of society!

You have helped to raise the profile of more young people volunteering throughout Surrey and have demonstrated what impact can be had when many young people come together under a common cause!

More than ever, we hope you keep spreading the word about how volunteering has impacted your life, the benefits it’s brought, and what change it’s had on people or the community.
