Since April 2008, Surrey vinvolved has worked with and recognised over 2200 young people volunteering in Surrey! It is something great to shout about showing that young people are contributing positively to their community, environment and others around them!

Youth volunteering is only on the rise and will continue, so keep spreading the word and getting involved!

Though the Surrey vinvolved project will be ending on 31 March to support 16-25 year olds into volunteering, it doesn’t mean young people should stop volunteering! There is ongoing support through the great services offered by Surrey’s Volunteer Centres as well as many ways you can get yourself into volunteering!

4. Search for organisations you know that you would like to volunteer with and contact them directly to see if they have volunteering vacancies. Most of the time, there is something!
