REACH - Quality Standards

For there to be any significant or lasting change in the culture of youth volunteering across England, all vinvolved teams across the country are encouraged to work towards the ‘REACH’ quality standard for youth action agencies. In May 2009, Surrey vinvolved achieved the REACH standard.

Training workshops - ‘Planning a Project for Youth Volunteers’

At the end of 2009, Surrey vinvolved delivered two half-day training workshops entitled ‘Planning a project for youth volunteers’. The workshop’s aim was to provide information and ideas about how organisations can engage youth volunteers by offering taster projects. Following the workshops, organisations have generated ideas for volunteering projects for 2010.
